ANTARA is the official news agency of the government of Indonesia. It was founded on 13 December 1937 by Adam Malik, Soemanang, AM Sipahoetar and Pandoe Kartawigoena. It became the country's news agency in 1962, when President Soekarno decided to incorporate ANTARA into the formal entity of the Republic of Indonesia as a state-news agency.

The agency is based in Jakarta with bureaus in all provinces of Indonesia. The Sumatra branch was established by Djamaluddin Adinegoro.

It also has overseas bureaus in Cairo, Canberra, Kuala Lumpur, New York, Sanaá, Tokyo and Beijing.

Reporter
Requirements :

Male/ Female with maximum age 26 years
Hold a Bachelor’s degree (S-1/D-IV), all graduate Programs, with a minimum 2.75 GPA
Having the knowledge and skills in journalism would be an advantage
Reative and exellent communication
Fluent in English
Good knowledge in Personal Computer
Willing to work to deadline
