P.T. Metrodata Electronics, Tbk was founded on February 17, 1983 and became a member of METRODATA business group, a prominent player in information communication technology since 1975. In 2008, the Company has done the acquisition of Soltius Asia Pte Ltd, which is an established SAP consulting firm in the region. Soltius Asia Pte Ltd is the owner of PT Soltius Indonesia, Soltius Australia Pty Ltd., and Soltius Thailand Ltd. which is now one of the Company's subsidiaries. The acquisition was a very important move because it opened the door for the Company to compete against other SAP partners in the enterprise segment.
The Company has purchased 37,21% of the shares of PT Xerindo Teknologi, a company with expertise in radio planning, installation, testing/commissioning, maintenance, etc.
Early in 2011, we will unveil our new joint venture with Synnex Technology International Corp ("Synnex") of Taiwan, a subsidiary to be known as PT Metrodata E Bisnis ("MEB"). Synnex is the third-largest player in the world (and the largest in Asia) in its distribution business, is known for its sophisticated robotic systems controlling operations, healthy vendor relationships and handset distribution business as well.
In 2010, "The Most Powerful Companies" in the Industrial Sector by Warta Ekonomi Magazine, the Company ranked first in the category of Trade Sector, Service & Investment, Computer and Services sub-sector. In the year 2009, the Company got Ranking 1 Sektor Elektronika and 2008 received award as The Best Listed Company 2008 - Emiten with the Best Performancein Electronic Sector, given by Investor Magazine and Globe Media Group.

Technical Consultant IT Security (IT - Sec) - Jakarta

- Conduct IT risk assessment / audit
- Provide consulting / advice / training to client in the area of IT Governance, Risk and Compliance
- Support project team in implementing IT security product
Minimum Requirements :
- Have a university degree (S-1) or equivalent qualification in Information Technology / Computer Science / Mathematics / Business
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the area of IT risk, IT Security or IT audit
- Have knowledge and experience in ISO 27000 implementation.
- Have knowledge and experience in IT audit using CoBIT or other related framework
- Having technical knowledge and skill to perform IT security testing (vulnerability assesment, penetration testing) is a plus point
