The establishment of PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja
 
PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja which was established on December 24th, 1959 is a company that aims to contribute to implement and support policies and government programs in economics, and national development in general, particularly in the field of industrial fertilizers and other chemical industries, through the production business, commerce, administration services, and other businesses.

PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja into Holding Company
PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja appointed by the government into the parent company (holding company) 

PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja (Persero), based on the PP No.28/1997. Since the Government of Indonesia transfer all its shares are placed in the Fertilizer Industry in Domestic and PT Mega Eltra to PUSRI, through Government Regulation (PP) number 28 of 1997 and Government Regulation number 34 year 1998, the PUSRI, based in Palembang, South Sumatra, to be parent Company (Operating Holding) with a charge of 6 (six) subsidiaries including direct investments in subsidiaries namely PT Rekayasa Industri. The other 6 (six) subsidiaries are PT Petrokimia Gresik, PT Pupuk Kujang, PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur, PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda, PT Rekayasa Industri and PT Mega Eltra.
