PT XL Axiata Tbk, Doing business as XL (formerly PT Excelcomindo Pratama Tbk), is an Indonesia-based mobile telecommunications services operator. The operator's coverage includes Java, Bali, and Lombok as well as the principal cities in and around Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi. XL offers data communication, broadband Internet, mobile communication and 3G services over GSM 900 and GSM 1800 networks.

Initially XL provided cellular mobile telephony services using the GSM 900 technology. A few years after launching services, the company was awarded a license for implementing a DCS 1800 network, and to operate an ISP and VoIP service.
In 2006, XL obtained a 3G license, which services launched in September of the same year.

At the end of 2010, the company has more than 40 million subscribers with more than 22,000 BTS towers across Indonesia.

Excelcomindo was established on 6 October 1989 under the name of PT Grahametropolitan Lestari and originally was a trading and general services company.

XL became the first private mobile services operator in the country, starting commercial operations on 8 October 1996.
 
On 2009, XL was bought by the Axiata Group which caused a change of logos. The XL letters was made blue, and an Axiata tag was added on the logo.

Specialist - Remuneration Strategy - Jakarta
Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and periodically review salary-related policies (i.e. Relocation, Salary Increment)
  • Provide labor costs forecast and adjustment (if needed) to align with XL compensation strategy and to maintain market competitiveness
  • Provide remuneration strategy proposal, taking into consideration market trends in order to support the implementation of organizational strategy
  • Work closely and coordinate with external consultant in conducting salary survey
  • Provide compensation and benefit structure design through assessment of market trends and internal relativity in order to maintain internal equity and pay competitiveness
  • Develop variable pay proposal (incl. bonus and incentive scheme and retention plan) to align pay and performance
  • Analyze benefit scheme to ensure alignment with company’s expectation and agreement scope with external parties
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree (S1) Mathematics / Statistics / Management
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Remuneration Strategy area in a big multinational corporation or remuneration consulting firm. Experience in other HR areas are advantageous
  • Hands-on knowledge of pay and grading systems and approaches
  • Good knowledge of benefit plans, both insured and uninsured benefits
  • Strong understanding about Job Evaluation
  • Business/operations knowledge of telecommunication company is a plus
  • Advanced level of Excel skills essential to manage and manipulate data and costing scenarios
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferable
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a must
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision with high level of analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and result oriented

Specialist – Business Control - Jakarta
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor budget/operational/technology implementation to ensure its’ alignment with the approved corporate business strategy
  • Develop the internal business monitoring reports for top level management decision making
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and business target
Requirements:
  • Strong business control experience in a relevant sector – telecoms, IT, management consulting
  • A proven track record of monitoring business performance against budget and business target
  • A thorough understanding of the telecoms and internet industries
  • Strong project monitoring skills
  • Solid interpersonal and communications skills (Verbal, Written & Presentation)
  • Fluent in English
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics (S2 degree is a plus)

Analyst - Budget & Control - Jakarta 
Responsibilities:
  • Conducting daily monitoring and controlling on budget distribution and budget release strategy in order to ensure compliance with the Company’s Policy & Procedures (budget guidelines, governance and accounting policy, etc.)
  • Assisting Specialist Budget & Control in preparing the Company’s annual CAPEX budget and to ensure the budget spending is in line with the approved business plan and also will not exceed the approved budget
  • Provide monthly and quarterly report for CAPEX budget utilization to support other dept. in decision making and to help users to identify which project’s budget is overrun, the causes and any necessary follow-up actions to overcome this. And also to provide other reports to be included in management report to BOD to support management in decision making
  • Review all CAPEX BPE submission in order to ensure the budget execution in line with approved budget
  • Involve in any projects related to CAPEX spending as the Finance’s representative
  • Enhancing and maximizing the SAP utilization by exploring SAP Data Information System facilities to develop and provide integrated report to support management
Requirements:
  • Minimum S1 University graduate with majority in Accounting/Management
  • 3 - 5 years experience in finance/cost accounting
  • Strong academic understanding on finance and management accounting principles
  • Spreadsheet & database skill - intermediate
  • Good analytical skill - intermediate
  • SAP module (is preferred) - basic

Analyst – Material Planning - Jakarta
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure material availability for network expansion and operation maintenance
  • Coordinate with vendor, transporter and logistic to have proper inbound call of
  • On time and documented PR release and Po sent to vendor
  • Manage material list to support project
  • Monitor outstanding PO and resolve any issues with vendor
Requirements:
  • D3/S1 from any major with 3-5 years experience in SAP/Engineering from Telecommunication background
  • Strong knowledge on Ms. Office and SAP
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and project management
  • Knowledge on material management
  • Possess certification from bea cukai

Officer - Revenue Settlement - Jakarta
Responsibilities:
  • Provide settlement data to all Value Added Services (VAS) partners to ensure collection and payment
  • Verify invoice and other related documents to ensure compliance of invoice amount
  • Monitor payment and collection to/from partners to ensure amount and on time cash in/outflow activity
  • Maintain settlement to ensure all activities are in line with SOP (Standard Operational and Procedure)
  • Gather data/information in order to review new product for settlement in connection with agreement and reporting
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree (S1) in financial/accounting
  • 2 years experience in finance
  • Basic knowledge of tax, international business
  • Intermediate Ms. Excel skill
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication and coordination skill
  • Basic analytical skill
  • Basic knowledge of telecommunication business
