Chief Accountant - Jakarta
Responsibilities:
- Cash and Bank control
- Cost control
- Payroll as internal control for all payment and purchase transactions on site
- Ensure a fixed asset register is maintained and regularly update
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements
- Liaison between the local tax authorities and group tax team at headquarter
- To liaise with auditors - either company or from statutory regulators
- Prepare financial report
- Any other duties as maybe assigned
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience with Multinational company.
- Strong accounting fundamentals and good knowledge of local tax issues.
- Have working experience to handle payroll.
- Willing to travel frequently.
- Fluent in English both oral and written.
- Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
