PT. Waskita Karya is an Indonesian development company located in Cawang, Jakarta. It was established on January 1, 1961. Waskita specializes in commercial and residential building contracts.

Waskita Karya is one of leading state companies in Indonesia which plays a major role in the development of the country. Originated from a Dutch company named “Volker Aannemings Maatschappij N.V.”, which was expropriated under the Government's Decree No.62/1961, Waskita Karya was initialy paticipated in the water related developments including reclamation, dredging, harbor and irrigation.

Eversince 1973, however, legal status of Waskita Karya's has changed to “Persero” PT. Waskita Karya, with a more familliar summon “Waskita”. From then on, the company started to expand its business as general contractor engaging in a wider range of construction activities including highways, bridges, ports, airports, buildings, sewerage plants, cement plants, factories and other industrial facilities.

In 1980, Waskita started to undertake a wide variety of projects involving advanced technology. Transfer of technology was conducted through business alliances in the form of joint operations and joint venture with reputable foreign companies. Significant and outstanding accomplishments whice become national pride are Sukarno-Hatta Airport, Siwabessy Multipurpose Reactor, and Muara Karang Coal Fired Power Plant in Jakarta.

Entering year 1990, Waskita has completed numeruous high rise buildings with well earned reputation such as BNI City (the tallest building in Indonesia), Bank Indonesia Office Buildings, Graha Niaga Tower, Mandiri Plaza Tower, Shangri-La Hotel and several multi-storey apartment buildings in Jakarta and other cities in Indonesia.

Waskita has achieved distinguished performances in the construction of long span prestressed concrete bridge using free cantilever system by successfully completed three bridges: Raja Mandala, Rantau Berangin, and Barelang IV. Another major achievement using similar technology was acomplished in the construction of "Pasteur-Cikapayang-Surapati” elevated road and cable stayed bridge in Bandung. The same success story was also achieved in the construction of several major dams such as Pondok, Grogkak, Tilong, Gapit, and Sumi, whice were completed ahead of schedule with satisfying quality.

The effort in always prioritizing quality ahead of anything else has enabled Waskita in obtaining certification of ISO 9002:1994 in November 1995; whice became a convincing international recognition on the ISO Quality Management System implemented by the company and a starting point towards the era of global competition. In June 2003, Waskita has successfully updated its Quality Management System and was able to obtain certification of ISO 9001:2000. This becomes a strong indication on how the company understands and always tries to satisfy specific needs of its customer.

SURVEYOR (SVR)

Qualifications:

Male, maximum age is 30 years.
Graduated from STM Bangunan/ SMA IPA/ D3 in Civil Engineering.
Able to use a measurement tool Theodolit and Water Pass (certificate).
Experienced in high rise building projects in their fields at least 3 years.
Able to speak English active and operate computer (Ms. Office).

HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER (HSO)

Qualifications:

Male or Female age maximum 40 years
D3/ S1 SKM/ Civil Engineering from reputable university with minimum GPA 2.75
Preferred experience in the office with same position at least 3 years
Have a Certificate of Expert in the field of Health and Safety Project/ Construction
Able to speak English active and operate computer (Ms. Office)

DRAFTER (DFR)

Qualifications:

Male, age max 30 years old.
Graduated from STM Bangunan/ D3 in Civil Engineering.
Able to operate Autocad program (certificate).
Experienced in high rise building projects in their fields at least 3 years.
Able to speak English active and operate computer (Ms. Office).

ESTIMATOR (EST)

Qualifications:

Male or Female, maximum 40 years of age.
D3/ S1 in Civil Engineering from reputable university with minimum GPA of 2.75.
Experienced in calculating the budget for the tender of High Rise Building/ Road & Bridge/ Pier/ Irrigation/ workforce for at least 5 years.
Mastering Standard Contract (FIDIC, JCT, ICE) and Construction Services Act.
Able to speak English active and operate computer (Ms. Office).

SUPERVISOR (SPV)

Qualifications:

Male or Female, maximum 40 years of age.
D3/ S1 in Civil Engineering from reputable university with minimum GPA 2.75.
Experienced in the field of High Rise Building/ Road & Bridge/ Irrigation/ workforce/ Hydro Power/ Thermal for at least 3 years.
Able to speak English active and operate computer (Ms. Office).

LOGISTIK & PERALATAN (LP)

Qualifications:

Male, maximum 35 years of age.
Graduated from STM Bangunan/ D3 in Civil Engineering/ Mechanical
Preferably with experience in same job position for at least 3 years
Able to speak English active and operate computer (Ms. Office).

SEKRETARIS (SKR)

Qualifications:

Female with maximum age of 25 years old
SMK/ D3 in Secretary Department
Interesting appearance and body height min. 160 cm
Preferably with experience in same job position at least 3 years
Able to speak English active and operate computer (Ms. Office).

LABORATORIUM (LBR)

Qualifications:

Male, age maximum is 40 years.
Graduated from STM Construction/ D3 in Civil.
Experienced in asphalt laboratorium/ soil/ concrete in road projects, bridges and irrigation for at least 3 years.
Able to speak English active and operate computer (Ms. Office).

MECHANICAL ELECTRICAL (ME)

Qualifications:

Male, maximum age is 40 years old.
S1 in Mechanical Engineering from reputable university with minimum GPA 2.75.
Experienced in the implementation of Mechanical & Electrical Works, for minimum of 3 years
Fluent in English is active, Mastering Program : MS. Office.

PROJECT MANAGER (PM)

Qualifications:

Male, age maximum 45 years.
D3/ S1 in Civil Engineering/ Architecture from reputable university with minimum GPA 2.75.
Experienced in the field of High Rise Building/ Road & Bridge/ Irrigation/ Workforce for at least 3 years.
Able to speak English active and operate computer (Ms. Office).

SITE ENGINEER (SE)

Qualifications:

Male or Female, maximum 40 years of age.
D3/ S1 in Civil Engineering from reputable university with minimum GPA 2.75.
Experienced in the field of High Rise Building/ Road & Bridge/ Irrigation/ Workforce / Hydro Power/ Thermal for at least 3 years.
Able to speak English active and operate computer (Ms. Office, MS.Project)

SITE MANAGER (SM)

Qualifications:

Male, age maximum is 45 years.
S1 in Civil Engineering from reputable university with minimum GPA 2.75.
Experienced in the field of High Rise Building/ Road & Bridge/ Irrigation/ Workforce of at least 3 years.
Able to speak English active and operate computer (Ms. Office).
