The early establishment of PT. Mustika Ratu was in 1975, starting from the residence of Mrs. BRA. Mooryati Soedibyo. In 1978, PT. Mustika Ratu began running its commercial business, namely by producing herbs that are distributed in Jakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Bandung and Medan. In the development of consumer demand that is increasing, until in 1980 PT. Mustika Ratu started to develop various kinds of traditional cosmetics.
On April 8th, 1981, PT. Mustika Ratu' s official factory had been operated. In order to strengthen its capital structure and to realize its vision as the company of Natural Herbal Cosmetics and Best High Tech in Indonesia. PT. Mustika Ratu initial public offering and listed its shares in PT. Bursa Efek Jakarta in 1995. PT. Mustika Ratu started its international standards of ISO 9002 on Quality Management System and ISO 14001 on Environmental Management Systems since 1996.
The scope of PT. Mustika Ratu activities includes manufacturing, trading and distribution of traditional herbal medicine and cosmetics as well as a healthy beverage, and other related business activities.
